Sonko Barley barley groats
Hulled barley groats are produced from whole barley grains subjected to a sorting and hulling. The product is low in fat and sugar but high in fibre. It is a source od magnesium, phosphorus and iron. Hulled barley groats fit perfectly with traditional meat dishes and vegetarian meals, it also can be a delicious addition to soups, stuffing and salads. Store in a cool dry place.
Pour water into the pot, so that the ba gis completely submerged. Bring the water to a boil. Put the bag into a boiling water. You can add a little salt to water. Xoer with a lid and cook for approx. 20 minutes. Depending on preferred consistency of groats, cooking time may be extended or shortened. Take out the bag, rinse in cold water, drain, tear the bag along the perforation and pour groats onto a plate.
